The Picasa Specific Settings dialog has two tabs for entering information needed to read and write information in the contacts.xml and .picasa.ini files.
Contacts.xml File

Contacts.xml File Location specifies the location where FaceEditor first looks for the contacts.xml file. If file is not found, FaceEditor will look for the contacts.xml file in the default location used by Picasa.
- Reset Default - Resets the Contacts.xml File Location textbox to the default location used by Picasa.
- Browse - Allows you to browse your computer to locate the file to be used for the contacts information.
Contact Entry Property Names contains the names of the property values used to define each contact in the contacts.xml file
- Name - Name of the person defined by the contact entry.
- Nickname - Nickname is outdated and no longer used by Picasa but was for a person's nickname.
- Id - Defines the unique id number used to cross reference names with face rectangles found in the .picasa.ini files.
- Modified - Time stamp defining when the contact was created or modified.
- Sync - Determines whether or not a contact is synchronized with online information.
- Local - Specifies if the contact is a local or online contact.
The Reset All Defaults button resets all information on both tabs to the default used by Picasa.
Picasa INI File

Picasa INI File Name is the name of the file where the image metadata is stored in each folder. The file contains lines of
text consisting of a section header enclosed in in square brackets ([...]) usually followed by one or more lines of key/value pairs in
the form of keyname=value.
The Picasa INI Setting Names section contains some of the key names used for metadata in the .picasa.ini files.
- Faces - Key used for the face rectangle data.
- Crop - Image crop information.
- Rotation - Image rotation information
- Star - Star status of the image.
- Backup Hash - Backup hash entry used by Picasa.
The Picasa INI Setting Values section contains information used in the values of the key/value pairs of the .picasa.ini files.
- Face Tag Marker - String used to mark the beginning of a face rectangle entry.
- Star True Value - The value used to indicate the image has a star.
