
The Appearance options control the basic style of the padding area added to the image.
- Choose Font - Select the font, size, style and color of any text added in the padding area.
- Background Color - Color of the area added as padding.
- Text Margin - Margin size in inches before and after any text added to the padding area.
The Filename options determine the text added to show the filename in the padding area.
- Show Filename - If checked, the filename of the original image is shown.
- Show File Extension - Hides or shows the file extension (.jpg, .bmp, ...) if Show Filename is checked.
The Image Position options determine the position of the original image in the padding area. Any text added will always be below or to the right of the image.
- Top/Left - The original image is placed either to the top or left with all the padding on one side.
- Center - Centers the original image with equal amounts of padding on both sides.
The Date Taken options determine the display of the date the image was taken if one can be found.
- Show Date - Shows or hides the date the image was taken.
- Date Format - Determines the format of the date shown. A format may be chosen from the dropdown list or a custom format string can be entered manually.
The People options determine the display of a list of the people named in the photo. Picture Padder can display the names of people identified with either Picasa or Windows Photo Gallery.
- Show List Of Names - Shows or hides a list of names of people identified in the photo.
- Text For Multiple Names - Introductory text used when more than one person is identified in the image. People are always sorted from left to right as determined by the left edge of the rectangle defining the face region.
